The 90 dedicated men and women of the community who comprise the Glen Cove Volunteer Fire Department and the Glen Cove Fire Association Inc are all volunteers. We are a registered 501(c)(3) 509(a)(2) non profit public charity, please take a moment to help us with a tax deductible donation. For the past 189 years, community volunteers have donated their time and risked possible life threatening injury in order to provide you and your loved ones with the expert level of emergency services which we have all grown to expect from the Department. In 2024, we responded to over 700 calls for help. Our highly trained members not only respond to fire calls, but also respond to motor vehicle accidents, rescue calls and nature related emergencies. We are there for you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
